There have been ages people are trying to loose weight but there are very few who have reached their goal, others have gone for shopping of bigger clothes and packing their older clothes hoping that someday they'll fit into those old clothes but they are still stacking on the uppermost shelf where neither your hand reaches and nor your body, hahaha.... Pretty much my story ehh??
Anyways what i will try to do here is post some interesting tips to cook low cal yet tasty food because i myself cant give up tasty food and its better if u realize the fact as soon as possible. Write down some low cal recipes, Post the links to different articles available online to stay on your diet plan and lastly to communicate with fellow dieters, there are only 2 basic rules i follow no fried stuff and less sugar(because its difficult to give up sugar, what will happen to my 3 times a day masala tea and my wonderful sweet tooth recipes), but yes less amount of it if u can totally give up on sugar then you are my god or goddess

Tips:
1. Use cooking spray, Spray Lite, i am using it, its wonderful, it has got 3 flavors and yes its available in india, Here is the link-

2. Substitute Cream with diluted skim milk powder or yoghurt or coconut milk wherever possible.
3. Substitute ice creams with flavoured yoghurt, readily available in malls at a very cheap rate.
4. Substitute fruits as your in between meal munchies rather than unhealthy chips and fried stuff.
5. If you dont have time for exercise whenever you are traveling in your cab or bus or sitting at home watching tv, sit upright, take your stomach in hold it in till u count 15 seconds and release, repeat for 20-50 times, but dont do it right after meals otherwise u can do it anytime of the day.
6. Walk around the house as much as possible, Take only one item at a time like if you are drying clothes, take one cloth at a time, hang it then again go and pick up another cloth, and repeat.
7. Sit if u can sleep, stand if u can sit, walk if u can stand.
8. For vegetarians, have paneer and soya granules in your diet atleast once a week.
9. Find a friend to track your progress in your weight loss plan, can be your husband, your friend, ur online friend, your parents, etc.
10. Maintain a food diary, just write down whatever you are eating during the day, everyday, it really helps, and try to balance out your meals like if you have overeaten on weekends, try to balance it on weekdays.
11. Never go for crash diets like the general motors or the atkins or the low carb one, though it helps you loose weight for a certain period, its difficult to continue it for a longer duration and once u stop following it, u start to gain weight again, and your body also needs all types of vitamins, proteins, minerals, fibre, etc, but it definitely needs less fat, less grease, more exercise , etc.
